Intern, Internal Audit

Summary
-Participates on internal financial and/or system audits and risk assessments within established business process controls.
-May test and document financial and computer system records for information system integrity and transaction accuracy.
-Reports discrepancies.
-Assists in the preparation of audit plans and understands the specific issues to be evaluated.
-Works with the audit team to draft formal written reports to communicate audit results to management and regulatory compliance agencies, if applicable and makes recommendations as appropriate. -May require knowledge and skills in finance/accounting and/or information system operations.
-Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
-Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
-Builds productive internal/external working relationships.

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to explain job-related information to supervisor and coworkers and possibly others.
