Health Outcomes Analyst
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The HEOR Analyst is an active member of cross-functional project teams within Global Medical Affairs and is responsible for projects of varying size and complexity.
.
The individual works in cooperation with the brand team to achieve project goals and objectives on time and within budget.
Essential Functions:
o Provide recommendations and guidance regarding the appropriate statistical approaches to answering key research questions.
o Understanding of product research and development processes, and ability to grasp/understand technical conversation enough to record decisions and associated rationale.
o Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
o Contribute to the development of abstracts and manuscripts derived from departmental research.
o Supports the development of the AMCP and other value dossiers and Budget Impact Models.

Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.

Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

Performs other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education/
Experience:
Required Skills:
o MS or PhD in health economics, HEOR, epidemiology, pharmacoeconomics degree preferred or a PharmD, MD, PhD in related scientific field o Two years experience in study design and implementation, data extraction and statistical analysis in the HEOR or epidemiology.
o Experience in patient reported outcomes research preferred.
Intermediate publication experience.
o Work experience / knowledge of statistical methods commonly used in health outcomes research o Knowledge of the Healthcare industry including the pharmaceutical industry R&D, clinical research and commercialization (marketing & sales) as well as the managed care marketplace, hospital systems and integrated systems of care.
o Demonstrates experience in data analytics and modeling o Strong organizational and planning skills; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environment.
o Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills along with the ability to listen effectively to others.

Qualifications:
o Demonstrates capability of working with minimal supervision; individual should be a self-startero Experience working in a cross-functional matrix environment o Demonstrates capability and comfort in communicating and interfacing with all levels in the organization including management and senior management.
o Working knowledge of PhRMA Code and FDA regulations regarding marketing of prescription drug products o Familiarity with GPP and sunshine actORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/SCOPE:
