The Senior Data Conversion Consultant will be a member of the Lumeris technical services team, working directly with the client's technical staff to transform and load data into the Lumeris suite of applications. The Data Conversion Analyst will be responsible for the task level execution of data conversions from payers, government, clinical and internal data sources to the data warehouse. Tasks include but are not limited to mapping, extraction, transformation, and validation of data from the various healthcare and financial data sources.
Role and
Responsibilities:
Work with new and prospective clients to analyze and transform data from disparate health care systems into the Lumeris database and data warehouse
Responsible for developing reconciliation reports to validate the data mapping and transformation of both healthcare and financial data into the data warehouse
Analyze, design, and develop custom reports to meet the client's needs
Assist in the creation and planning of projects, including organizing and leading group meetings
Experience - Qualifications - and Education:
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Healthcare Administration, CS, MIS, Finance, Mathematics or other technical discipline
Minimum 7 years working with large, complex database systems
Expertise with enterprise database systems such as SQL Server or Oracle (SQL Server preferred)
Knowledge and experience working with SSIS or other ETL tools
Working with healthcare and/or financial services data
Experience working with large transactional databases and data warehouses
Ability to create reports and retrieve data from large databases and data warehouses using SQL and stored procedures
Skilled in compiling large amounts of data into innovative presentations of information
Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with customers and third parties to complete large system integration projects
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
Detail oriented; able to work independently and set priorities
Knowledge of healthcare industry and measurements preferred
Up to 25% travel

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
