Total Hockey is looking for an energetic and organized person to join our warehouse team. The Warehouse Associate will perform warehouse duties and functions to support inventory integrity, order processing - picking, packing, staging, and shipping, and general maintenance and housekeeping duties to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.
Primary Job Functions:
o Picking, packing and shipping of orders
o Opening boxes and other containers.
o Marking inventory with identifying information
o Moving inventory within the warehouse utilizing various forklifts and equipment
o Sorting and placing materials on racks or shelves
o Putting away inventory that have been returned to stock
o Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for employees and customers traffic
o Recording amounts of inventory or items received or distributed
o Facilities maintenance duties to include but not limited to wweeping, dusting, and mopping of warehouse and general area
o Utilizing various computer systems for inventory lookup and retreival
o Wearing the proper safety and personal protection equipment
o Other projects as assigned

o Exposure to varying weather conditions and temperatures in warehouse and on loading dock.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
