## JOB DESCRIPTION
Manage and maintain a large Windows/VMware Environment via remote support tools
Troubleshooting a wide range of x86 based hardware platforms
Installation of Windows/VMware Operating Systems
Manage system performance, reliability and availability to service level agreements.
Troubleshoot Windows Infrastructure including Active Directory as required
Coordinate with internal and external business managers and groups to ensure systems meet expectations and requirements.
Full support of Windows file/print servers
Provide VM/Windows server engineering support to application owners
Assist with data backups and restores as required
Interaction with Service Center, Network Control Center and other business support areas for problem escalations, resolutions, reporting and coordination.

Qualifications:
The Applicant must demonstrate strong working knowledge of:
Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems (Windows 2003, 2008, 2012)
VMware ESX and virtualization technologies (ESX 5.X)
Cisco UCS server hardware
HP Proliant server hardware, especially blade servers and components
Microsoft and VMware Server Clustering.
Remote access systems and methodologies.
Server automation procedures and methods.
Microsoft Active Directory.
General Infrastructure and network hardware
TCP/IP networking layers.
Minimum 4 years direct
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline preferred.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skill
MCSE Preferred
