Research and assist with the implementation of new on-demand Clarity PPM modules
Meet with the Business teams to gather requirements and document workflow to be incorporated into Clarity PPM tool.
Prioritize and deliver enhancement requests on schedule and with quality.
Convert business and functional specifications into technical design solutions and programming instructions.
Design and code programs; data conversion scripts, Clarity jobs, Gel Scripts, XOG Processes, NSQL, database functions and batch programs.
Develop test plans and documents, including use case development.
Review test cases and other testing artifacts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all testing materials.
Assist in improving enterprise application integration (e.g., Work Day, Salesforce, etc.).
Assist with PMO process improvements and governance
Work with Clarity Support to coordinate upgrades, patches, and resolve any cross functional issues
Troubleshoot and resolve application support issues for the user community (approx. 500 resoruces)
Communicate regularly with management regarding the status of incidents and project initiatives
Adhere to change control process (includes changes to documentation, code, scope, etc.), and incident management process (includes, incident creation/update/closure, RCA and action item follow-up)
Configuration capabilities and process workflow within the Clarity PPM tool.
Provide knowledge transfer and training to the user community and IT personnel.
Assist PMO team with SharePoint website (e.g., set-up projects, manage permissions)
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelor''s degree or Equivalent
Experience with CA Clarity PPM to 13.x is preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting the Clarity tool from a technical perspective required
Demonstrated skills and experience in Clarity configuration and database / query knowledge
Experience and proficiency with Clarity installations, upgrades, and architecture, viewing and collecting data (Portlets), Creating lookups, Setting time slices, Data Mart setup
Working knowledge of SharePoint
Experience creating detailed functional and technical design documentation and the technical development of software and reporting capabilities utilizing the established PMO software solution suite Clarity PPM v13.2, Business Objects 3.3, Business Objects WEBi v12.50 (report design) and Business Objects Crystal Reports 2008 (report design)
Minimum 5 years CA Clarity application experience as Business Analyst or Clarity Application Analyst / Administrator
Ability to elicit and analyze business requirements and develop Functional Specifications
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision or guidance.
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
Highly Qualified Candidates will have an experience and expertise with a majority of the following areas:
