The ideal candidate would have a strong analytics foundation, through coursework or internships, as well as a good understanding of finance principles. Analyze and reconcile accounts Prepare and annotate variance reports Work with operating plans to create supporting financial forecasts and budgets Perform research to understand the accounting consequences of alternative approaches Desired Skills/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field Prior internship or coursework related to financial analysis or data analytics is preferred Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and other data analysis tools Familiarity with financial concepts, including financial statements, ratios, and valuation methods Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Ability to present financial analysis to management
