As the Director Learning & Development, you will ensure the Company offers employees timely and relevant learning and development opportunities to prepare for current and future roles within Graybar.
You will also create and manage a leadership development path as a talent pipeline.
In this role you will:
Set the curriculum strategy for the Company's learning and development programs in all areas:
core, job specific, supplier and leadership.
Responsible for all leadership development programs (i.
e.
, Internship, Leadership Trainee, Emerging Leader, Branch Management School, and Executive Education Program).
Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to define learning objectives and develop and/or curate learning solutions.
Lead the overall strategy, implementation, and program management for onboarding new employees.
Lead team members in design strategy, development, curation, and implementation of key learning initiatives and programs.
Ensure up-to-date and innovative learning and development services.
Oversee external vendor relationships and work with external content experts to create customized learning solutions.
As needed, lead, and facilitate learning programs including classroom and remote learning, small groups, and large groups.
Oversee evaluation and feedback of learning and development programs; assess and improve effectiveness and business impact of programs.
Provide overall leadership and direction to the learning and development team including coaching, mentoring and development.
Develop and manage budget for learning and development ensuring cost effective methods are utilized.
Invest in technology on an ongoing basis to enable learning and development strategies.
Manage these vendor relationships.
Work across the organization to identify areas where common training solutions can be leveraged company wide.
Provide consultative services to Directors, Human Resources to implement learning and leadership development strategies.
What you bring to the table:
10 years of progressively responsible learning and development experience; supervisory experience Four-year degree:
business, human resources, or related field MBA or equivalent education strongly preferred SPHR or PHR certification preferred Knowledge in designing, developing, and delivering impactful learning and development programs Content management/knowledge management Knowledge of project management tools and techniques Strong supervisory, leadership, and consulting skills Verbal and written communication and presentation skills Problem solving and negotiation skills Ability to budget effectively Ability to identify and manage vendors effectively Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels Ability to lead a team and achieve results through others Ability to interact with and influence senior leadership.
Moderate travel required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
